Description

Couch to 1km series.

Weekly lessons from May to September where we will help you learn to swim, improve your stroke, technique, confidence, stamina & distance with the aim of helping you to swim 1000m or further*.

This year we have awards to achieve! Confidence, skills, distance and season distance awards. Join our awards evening at the end of the season with food & fun. (Dates TBC).

Lessons run weekly Wednesdays 6pm-7pm** and are based between Nolton Haven & Dale, (depending on conditions).

* Achieving the 1000m distance will depend on many factors including ability at the start of the course. We will help each swimmer set a personal goal they can work towards.

** Session times slide a bit later during the summer hols to avoid crowds, get better tides, to allow for sunset swims and to fit with instructor availability. Usually 6.30pm/6.45pm start.

Event Details

Swim lessons venue depends on weather, tides & participants but will likely be Dale, Little Haven, Broad Haven or Nolton.

Wednesday evenings 6-7pm (during the summer season we may move to a slightly later time to avoid crowds).

  • May dates - 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
  • June dates - 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
  • July dates - 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
  • August dates - 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
  • September dates - 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
