Weekly wellbeing in Pembrokeshire – wild swimming.
Studies have shown when you take part in cold water immersion, you will experience a number of benefits for physical & mental well-being. It strengthens your immune system, boosts metabolism, improves circulation and reduces inflammation.
A powerful tool for managing stress and anxiety. A natural remedy for the pressures of modern life.
The initial shock triggers a cascade of physiological responses, from increased circulation to a rush of endorphins, leaving you feeling refreshed and alive. There’s also a profound mental shift that occurs when you are in cold water. Your mind is forced to focus on the present moment, stripping away the noise of daily life and developing a deep sense of mindfulness surrounded by Pembrokeshire’s stunning beauty.
